Developer - Angular Nerd
Description:
Extra Nerds is looking to hire another Developer to join our team. This is an hourly, work from home, contract position (1099).
Local to Athens, Ohio is not necessary but advantageous.
Requirements:
Must be skilled in Angular; 5+ years preferred
Preference for candidate with experience in Microsoft .NET
Secure, high-speed internet connection
Responsibilities:
Gather project requirements and produce accurate estimates of development effort required
Create new Angular websites and troubleshoot issues with existing Angular websites
Attend web conferences with clients as needed
Hours:
Starts at 15-20 hours per week. Gradually increases based on your performance, our workload, and your availability.
Full time position with paid holidays available after 1 year.
Compensation:
Hourly, contract position in the ballpark of $50/hour, depending on experience.
Frequent raises will occur and will come regularly until your rate matches your skill level.
Developer - .NET Nerd
Description:
Extra Nerds is searching for a new .NET developer to join our team. This is an hourly, work from home, contract position (1099). You will be responsible for developing and troubleshooting web, desktop, and mobile applications written in C#.NET.
Requirements:
Intermediate/Expert skill level with the .NET Framework
Experience creating ASP.NET web forms, MVC, and Blazor applications
HTML/CSS/Javascript and familiarity with common CSS and JS frameworks (Bootstrap, Angular, etc.)
Ability to write well-documented code
Relational database design and maintenance using SQL Server
Familiarity with report design
Familiarity with 3rd party ASP.NET web controls (Telerik, DevExpress, etc.)
Familiarity with Git
Good time management skills and an ability to work on multiple projects
Excellent written/communication skills
Able to work remotely and collaborate using Teamwork/Slack/Zoom

Troubleshoot ASP.NET VB applications and convert VB.NET to C#.NET
